No matter what response is given Mark will miss the bird, and the two hear a scream coming from nearby. Thinking Kenny is in danger, the two hasten to rescue him from whatever has caused him to scream.
The person who was saved - David or Travis - has died because of their wounds. Lee will then get the option to say something to Katjaa, but it is interrupted as David/Travis reanimates as a Walker, grabbing hold of Katjaa in the process.
After a while Andy approaches them and asks what they're doing at the door. You can ask about the door or make an excuse about why you're looking at it. Andy tells them not to mess with the door because 'momma gets nervous'.
His family hopes that the therapy will improve the quality of his life, so he is not restricted to a chair every day, unable to move and need 24/7 assistance. The surgery requires using a large needle deep into his spine, which can cause horrible side effects. Unfortunately, it did just that. With more doses to come, this could be a dangerous journey for Nick.
Before the big twist had been revealed, there were a lot of questions about Landon and how he caused the burnt bodies on the bus. No mortal could've done that, so being a supernatural character was the top theory.
You could tell that time was put into creating the look of the creature. Sure, the dragon only appeared on screen for about five minutes, and the CGI wasn't the greatest, but the inclusion got the effect across to raise the stakes.
After all the evil and challenges she's experienced in her life, it's no wonder her approach had pushed people at school away. Hope is a stronger character because of it, but it's shown a change in the character that has developed ever since her introduction on The Originals.
For instance, the huge rivalry between the Salvatore school and the townies of Mystic Falls looked very promising. Their school feud wasn't just about the game, but ongoing issues that developed over the years. Something must have caused the big rift, and I'm excited to find out what happened.
Vox Machina heads back to House Thunderbrand to stock up. This time Vax attempts to walk toward the door and gets blasted by blue energy. Tiberius casts Dispel Magic but the spell has no effect. Vex'ahlia wants to fly the magic carpet over to the door, but Scanlan casts Unseen Servant and commands it to knock on the door. The door is answered by Lord Thunderbrand. Tiberius tries to introduce the group but Lord Thunderbrand casts Silence on him, upset by his intrusion a few nights ago. Tiberius tries to mime his way through a conversation while the rest of the group make excuses for his weirdness. When Tiberius can be heard again he makes an impassioned speech about his respect for the arcane to persuade Lord Thunderbrand, but the dwarf turns away because Tiberius is not a dwarf himself.
As they enter the cavern, they hear a skittering and two umber hulks drop from the ceiling. One of them strikes at Percy with its mandibles. The second attacks Grog. Scanlan starts singing and briefly distracts it, but it still gets in one hit. Vex begins to nock an arrow, but a wave of confusion takes over her brain and she spaces out, unmoving. Scanlan goes to help Vex and sings, \"Magic, magic go away, come again another day!\", but it has no effect. Percy pulls his gun, fires, and hits. He takes a second shot but his gun jams. Keyleth, as a cave bear, claws at an umber hulk and carves out a chunk of its hide. The umber hulk retaliates and hits Keyleth with its claws and mandibles. The second umber hulk attacks Grog again, its mandibles crushing down on his body and piercing into his chest. Vax jumps onto one umber hulk's back, gaining purchase on one of its chitinous plates, and stabs its head before it shrugs him off. Grog rages, popping all the capillaries in his eyeballs. Grog feels the influence of the umber hulk's Confusing Gaze, and he swings with his axe and misses Tiberius's head by inches.
The second umber hulk, no longer in snail form, burrows its way up the falls and bursts out right behind Vax. Tiberius casts Fire Bolt but misses. Vex fires two arrows and pierces the armor of the umber hulk. Scanlan casts Lightning Bolt at the umber hulk. Lightning cascades across its body, and fingers of electricity shoot through its plates, but it's still standing. Percy fires and hits the plates on its chest, and a purplish goo begins to spill from its wounds. Keyleth unleashes Call Lightning and causes a single bolt to streak down, striking the umber hulk where Scanlan's bolt previously struck it.
Tiberius casts Fire Bolt at the second duergar but misses. Vex shoots at the same duergar, and it falls off the edge of the cliff onto the cavern floor below. Vex yells, \"Surrender!\" in Undercommon to the last duergar, who is intimidated into putting down her weapons and surrendering. Keyleth runs over to try and heal Grog, but to no effect.

Because it's a TV show, though, Fear the Walking Dead is taking its time. In my early review of the season, I called this a \"slow-pocalypse,\" and \"So Close, Yet So Far,\" the show's second episode, underlines this approach.
But this is still a good key to the show's approach. In one scene, Nick (the aforementioned son) accidentally prevents his sister, Alicia, from wandering off to her presumed demise because he starts seizing and vomiting and needs her to make sure he doesn't accidentally choke to death.
Similarly, this episode isolates Travis from the rest of the family, because he goes to pick up his son and ex, Chris and Liza, only to find out that Chris is at the aforementioned protest. When Travis and Liza go to get him, the situation spirals out of control into a riot (after the police gun down a turned zombie), and they're soon stuck inside a local barbershop, looking for a way to escape.
This approach works, however, because it allows the show to slowly scale up its carnage. When zombies pop up on Fear, they don't feel as routine as they've become on the parent series (something that show has actually exploited to good effect in later seasons). Instead, they feel like alien monsters, arrived from some other reality entirely. So much of apocalyptic storytelling is about disruption, and there are few things more disruptive than the neighbor across the way trying to eat people.
This is another staple of the apocalyptic genre. And though Fear doesn't do much to contextualize why the government would keep from its citizens that the dead are returning to life, it sure depicts the gap between government actions and citizen response. (Presumably, the government is keeping quiet because of fear of mass panic. But since we know giant hordes of zombies are in these people's near future, mass panic seems a rather quaint fear.)
But we see this lack of communication on an interpersonal level as well. Everybody's trying to keep Alicia in the dark about the dead returning to life, while she won't listen to Nick because he's a drug addict who's been a burden on her life so far. Liza doesn't want to hear it from Travis, because of unspecified baggage, while Chris (annoyingly) decides to just head off to political protests without really telling anyone. The communication gap even extends to a literal language gap in some scenes, as some characters speak English and some speak Spanish.
Eleanor is not alone in challenging the \"hostess\" duties. Michelle is presented with several ideas that she bristles at, which include a garden project and a Vogue cover shoot. She refuses to become the \"Black Martha Stewart\" and goes head-to-head with Rahm Emanuel (Michael Aronov). She insists on naming her own chief of staff and causes she wants to champion. As with Eleanor, compromises are made and she also shares a relaxed moment with her husband.
As one of these earliest hosts, not long after that, Angela was still Escalante when Arnold decided, in the wake of discovering Dolores was now sentient, that he could not allow the hosts to effectively live in a hell of his making, and had Dolores and Teddy wipe out their fellow hosts. Angela being the last one dispatched by Teddy.
It appears as if Robert picked her to be one of Dolores's/Wyatt's lieutenants, in part because of her presence at Esclante, which places her at the Centre of the Wyatt storyline, and perhaps because as one of the longest suffering/most used of the hosts, he felt she was owed/was likely to feel the most vengeance.
Angela is, it is revealed, the first host effectively 'pimped' out by Ford and Weber to get the money the want to develop the Park. And is chosen to do so instead of Dolores, who is Arnold's favourite. In the wake of this, on Dolores seeing Angela dressing, an interesting moment occurs between the two fellow female hosts. Almost like a mutual recognition of the future that awaits them.
Despite this, on achieving her self-awareness, it is Dolores as Wyatt and Teddy that she is foursquare behind. As a stalwart Lieutenant of Dolores/Wyatt, she leads the followers out in the Park that Robert has purposed, and makes every effort to coax Teddy back to Wyatt's side, foretelling that he will be at Wyatt's side again as he once was. In many ways, perhaps not surprisingly given her forced prostitution role for decades, Angela is in many ways the most zealous in search of revenge, and in service of the cause of Host freedom. Unquestioning of Dolores's path, she is relentlessly vicious and single minded, frequently having to be reigned in by Dolores. And, after Dolores reprograms Teddy to be a cold blooded killer, openly smirking when he shoots a QA man point blank in an act that even stuns Dolores herself. 59ce067264
